RETIREMENT
In October 2021 she was part of the Bulgarian group that withdrew from the world championships in Kitakyushu, Japan, due to an injury suffered by Laura Traets. Following the withdrawal, she announced her retirement from the sport alongside her national teammates Laura Traets, Madlen Radukanova, Stefani Kiryakova and Erika Zafirova, who claimed gold together in the group event at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "Our competition career is over. Here in Japan, in the country where we made our biggest dream come true. We are happy. Yes, we were ready for another fight, we were prepared and we wanted to end it properly, but this is how it had to be. Our final remains the winning of the coveted golden Olympic medal."
