RETIREMENT
She retired from the sport after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "My time was up, I gave it my all and I wouldn't come back as a gymnast. I would like to have my own club. Due to personal reasons, I stopped working with the national team, which is the highest level for a coach. I had very good offers abroad, some of the richest countries offered me long-term contracts. But again, for personal reasons, I refused them too. I am preparing to create my own club, but I am not in a hurry, I want it to be very nice." (bntnews.bg, 08 May 2022)
CHARITY AUCTION
In 2018 she auctioned the gold medal she won, as well as the clubs with which she had performed, at the 2018 World Cup event in Sofia, Bulgaria. She put the items up for sale to raise funds for Bulgarian footballer Ivan Todorov, who had been diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his foot. The fundraising efforts were successful and Todorov underwent successful surgery in December 2018. The anonymous buyer returned the medal and clubs to Taseva in January 2019.
