Injuries
She suffered a broken fibula and tore ligaments in her ankle during training two-and-a-half months before the 2020 Olympic Games. The injuries did not prevent her from taking part in the Games in Tokyo. (olympijskytym.cz, 01 Aug 2021)
She fell and damaged knee ligaments while warming up to compete at the 2016 European Junior Championships in Bern, Switzerland. She had surgery and needed two months of total rest. Reason for taking up the sport
"I was a really restless child. Both my parents are keen on sports so as a baby I took swimming lessons, then my mum took me to a gym for parent and child exercise classes. I really enjoyed it so the next step was early gymnastics classes."
