He followed his sister into the sport. "She began practising it two years before me. I used to go to pick her up and there were some boys doing somersaults. If I hadn't seen them I might have ended up playing football, but after that I wanted to try somersaulting. I've been going to the gym ever since. If it wasn't for gymnastics, I might have ended up on the wrong path."
