"My mother did gymnastics as a child, so she registered me for gymnastics to learn the basics. I liked gymnastics and I didn't want to start with artistic cycling [the sport her mother did], so I remained in gymnastics."

PREFERRED APPARATUS
She favours balance beam over the other apparatuses. "Balance beam has always been my favourite because I have never been afraid to try new elements [on balance beam]. I try not to stress before competitions, especially before beam. I just always try to keep a cool head and focus.
