Reason for taking up the sport
He always wanted to practise gymnastics, although he did not know that trampoline gymnastics existed. In 2012 he was invited to take part in a trial at his school, after which he was selected to start training at Minas Tenis Club in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. "Jumping for me is freedom because I'm doing what I like. And when the elements are perfectly done I feel calm, knowing that everything is going right. Flying is sensational."
