She took up gymnastics in 2002.
Reason for taking up the sport
At age three she was inspired by watching the Olympic Games. "I was like, 'I want to do that. I have no idea what that is but I want to do it.'" She also did not have any brothers or sisters, so her mother enrolled her into gymnastics to meet other children. "I was a very energetic child."
Ambitions

She trains six days a week for a total of 30 hours.

REPRESENTING MEXICO
She was born in the United States of America to Mexican parents and has dual citizenship. In 2017 she attended a US national team training camp. In mid-2018 she travelled to Mexico to take part in national competitions, where her results were good enough for her to enter the national team, so she decided to represent Mexico internationally.
