FRIENDSHIP AND RIVALRY
He has been friends with Russian gymnast Nikita Nagornyy since age 11. He believes that their friendly rivalry helps improve their performances. "Now we are grown up and in competition together. We compete against each other even at training. I am sure that Nikita will say the same thing, and I think the coaches see it too. We push each other to become more skilled, to do something new, to develop faster. I don't know how everything will turn out in the end, but it's very interesting to experience."
